A Huge thank you so Hayley & Sean for having me along to capture you fabulous wedding.
What a fantastic wedding this was for Hayley and Sean. I met with Hayley and her bridesmaids in the morning and it was such a great morning. With five bridesmaids and plenty the Prosecco flowing as soon as I walked in I knew it was gonna be a fabulous day ahead! It was great to work with Danielle & Hayley who are two incredible and personal professionals covering hair and makeup.
Once make up was finished and everyone was looking stunning it was time for Hayley to get into her beautiful wedding dress from the sensational Blush Brides & Grooms Poulton. It was clear to see how proud Hayley's dad was when he laid his eyes on her in her wedding dress for the first time, I always love this moment on the wedding day, being a father myself and seeing this moment makes me think how I will feel when it is my daughter standing their as I look on adorably at her.
After a short service it was time to sign the register and then on to the drinks reception, but not before Hayley and Sean made their way through loads of confetti – It was awesome. My approach to drinks receptions are the same – I always prefer to photograph the formal groups and portraits towards the end of the drinks reception which allows the couples to actually enjoy their wedding.
It is something I really believe in and know the value of form couples and their friends and family. It is exactly what we did today but we had to go outside during the wedding breakfast for the fantastic sunset that we were lucky enough to have at this incredible wedding venue.
This time the speeches were beautifully short but sweet exactly as speeches should be containing humour, laughter and some lovely words.
Then it was time for the traditional cutting of the cake before the best part of the wedding & the evening party started! A traditional first dance was followed by the entire dance floor being filled by their nearest and dearest and some serious moves being made.
It was packed and I love weddings like this – it was fantastic from start to finish. I have photographed several times at The Great Hall At Mains & I love photographing at this wonderful wedding venue and can’t wait to return again soon.
