Lots of couples get nervous about wedding portraits but there's simply no need.
Working as a Manchester Wedding Photographer I've captured endless portrait sessions and in my early stages of capturing people I realised so many couples are nervous about having their portrait taken even if you've been photographed before. I've found this when shooting as a Cheshire wedding photographer or even as a Destination wedding photographer. Regardless of the location couples can get nervous about this part of the day if you want a portrait session. News just in, in 2022 I had 4 couples I worked with just want me to shoot documentary all day, zero group photos or portraits (is this a sign of the times, I don't know so I'll let you be judge and jury on that one!)
This portrait of Ayshea and Shane shows how relaxed they feel around both myself and the camera, my couples being relaxed around myself and the team is so important as it builds rapport, trust and allows us their playful and humour relationship shines through in the joy in their faces. A beautiful moment naturally captured just before sunset at The Glasshouse Staining. A venue I've captured many wonderful weddings at, check out Kasha & Johnnys Glasshouse wedding story for more.
